Ideal counter top unit for freshly baked waffle cones. Yogurt and ice cream parlors will find fresh waffles to be a crowd pleaser and help to increase incremental sales. Star's waffle cone bakers/makers are built of polished stainless steel and heavy-duty cast aluminum grids. The grids produce an 8" diameter cone waffle. A heavy-duty aluminum hinge is provided for opening the top grid assembly when loading. A locking latch installed on the upper grid allows precise distance between top and bottom grids while baking. Metal sheathed tubular elements in the top and bottom grids provide excellent performance. A preset bimetal fast acting thermostat installed in the bottom plate provides a perfect temperature control for cooking waffle cones. A digital electronic timer with precision settings cooks the waffles properly. The waffle baker has a heavy-duty rocker switch with an indicator light and a drip tray is provided.
