Pressed Wood Pizza Peels are becoming more popular, as they are encouraged by many health departments across the country. The pressed wood is very dense. With normal use, food particles won't get into the fiber of the wood, making them much more sanitary than most wood peels. You can even cut the pizza right on the peel because the pressed wood is so hard that most knives won't leave cut marks. Easy to wash. Downside is they are considerably heavier than standard wood or metal peels. NSF approved for food service use. Available in the blade sizes below.

This peel is the perfect size for my oven, which is on the smaller size. It's also the perfect size for a 10" pizza. The pressed wood is hard, but thin, and the tapered edges making sliding pizzas into the oven worry-free (granted, you've sprinkled corn meal or semolina on the board first). Plus, the wood has a smooth, slick finish that is easy to clean if your finished pizza oozes juices onto the peel. My only complaint is that the handle doesn't have a hole for hanging on the wall, but that's not a big deal.
I give this product my highest rating. It is incredibly versatile, thin/lightweight, but extremely dense/strong. Stands up to all types of cutting, e.g., knives, pizza cutters, and high-temperature/contact with my home oven pizza stone @ 500 + degrees with no burn marks. Smooth surface washes beautifully.
