| About 20 years ago, we came across very similar knives at a major warehouse club. We purchased them and loved to use them. Over the years, two were damaged (grandchildren) and the wood was really bleached out due to dishwasher use. We purchased two sets of Porterhouse Knives from ABest Kitchen and they are exactly what we originally had. They are heavy, large and excellent steak knives. Many steak houses use similar knives. Tramontina makes excellent mid priced products. These are great knives and the cost is excellent. I strongly recommend them, especially if you like the full blade for cutting meat. | ||||
