Made of high-carbon, no-stain, molybdenum, vanadium 440A steel with a 3 rivet pakkawood handle. The hardness of the Asian Precision Series is 57-58. This is slighlty harder than Messermeister's German cutlery, staying with Japanese cutlery tradition.
