This unit will have a plumber scratching his/her head. Get a plumber who has a little patience.
This unit cuts it close when it says "under the counter". It's under there allright, but barely. The unit requires a 1/2 in all around for venting, so get the dishwasher before you install the cabinets or counter top.
The dishwasher has a drain plug on the bottom of the rinse with a hard plastic washer. This leaked instantly. I had to replace the washer with a rubber one. No more leaks now.
The unit doesn't come with a water pressure regulator (required). I would have rather paid $80 more for the dishwasher than to order the required water pressure regulator seperately.
All in All this unit gets hot and washes quick. But not as fast as they claim it to be (24 racks per hour). After each wash, the temperature in the rinse tank and the temperature in the wash tank dropped about 10 degrees. The unit takes about 8 minutes to heat back up. So realistically you can only wash about 6 loads per hour, unless you don't mind that you are washing at a lesser temperature than the Dept of Health requires, which I'm sure is happening anyway.
One last bit of advice, check behind the plumber and make sure it's installed correctly. You're the one who'll lose money when it breaks.
